London County Hall Official Wireless Rugby, Jan. 4. 'The new wing of the London County Hall, incorporating the Conference Hall, library, and office, is now nearing completion, and will be formally opened this month. The hall occupies a site with an extensive river front, on the south side of the Thames almost opposite the Houses of Parliament. The King laid the foundation-stone in 1912. and the building has now been com plcted at a total cost of about £4 mil lion in accordance with the original de sign of the late Ralph Knott. In the final wing, built by his successor, Mr. Collins, steel construction has been used.
