TO-DAY’S WEATHER FORECAST.

Meteorological Office, Wellington, Thursday, January 5, 1933, 4 p.m. A slight anti-cyclone has been moving over Gasman Sea on to northern New Zealand, but pressure Is still low in the vicinity of the Chatham Islands and a rather shallow cyclonic depression has been located off the New South Wales coast. Moderate and variable winds, but gradually tending northerly. Still a southerly swell south of East Cape, but otherwise smooth to moderate in New Zealand waters. Moderate westerly winds, veering to northerlles' and freshening In bhe eastern Weattiercloudyat the most part fair with rising temperatures: showers developing soon, however, in -Westland and the far south.
