TRANSPORT STRIKE
Cape Town Trams & Buses Cape Town, Dec. 9. Tram and busmen struck for an Increase of 3d an hour. A midnight meeting concluded at 3 a.tn., whereupon the sheds and garages were rushed and control levers and magnetos removed. tires deflated, and sugar poured into the petrol tanks. The Automobile Association is organising free transport.
