DISEASE IN POULTRY
Protest by Canadians IMPORTS FROM AUSTRALIA (Received Dec. 11, 6.30 p.m.) Victoria, Dec. 10. The Provincial Poultry Council is urging the Provincial Minister of Agriculture to request the Dominion Government to prohibit the importation of Australian poultry owing to the prevalence of Newcastle disease. The disease is described as a scourge, which swept the United States several years ago.
