Diesel Generators From Auckland. In a few days the new 15.01)0 kilowatt plant installed at the King’s Wharf power station to guard against any shortage of power in Auckland city and suburbs will undergo trials. When the plant _is in operation the Government sub-station at Penrose will be shut down, and three Diesel generating sets will be transferred to Lyttelton in order to help to relieve any power shortage at Lake Coleridge.
