STUDIO DANCE
For the dual purpose of opening the dancing-season’.and introducing her new Studio, Miss Gwenthe Walshe entertained a large number .of guests last-evening. Situated in the ‘ “Evening Bost s Building,, and occupying an ideal corner position, the studio presented a very attractive appearance. Large groups o£‘ chrysanthemums, phlox, and calendulas were m keeping with the tasteful scheme .pt decoration. A happy evening of dancing, including a number of novelty dances, was enjoyed by those present. Music was supplied by the Futurist lour Orchestra. Quite a number of beautiful .floral tributes and congratulatory messages were received by Miss ‘Walshe from well-wishers. During the supper adjournment a speech of . congratulation was made, and, the singing of “For She’s a Jolly Good Fellow” was followed by cheers for the hostess. Miss Gwenthe Walshe wore a silver lace frock, trimmed with pink and blue .taffeta as French flowers, and a large bow at the hip. Among those present were:—Mrs. T.
