Meteorological Office, Wellington, Sunday, May 18, 1930, 4 p.m. The depression has now moved eastward, and an anti-cyclone is advancing on to the Dominion. Winds south-west to southerly and moderate to fiesh. Seas moderate generally in New Zealand waters. Moderate to fresh sout erly winds and moderate seas in the Eastern Tasman Sea. Weather still rather unsettled with scattered showers mainly in the far south but improving gradually. Cold night with some frosts.
