SPRING FLOWERS
FEATHERSTON SHOW. Featherston. November 29. The Featherston Horticultural Society's flower show, held in the Anzac Mall .yesterday, attracted a record number of entries, and despite the. rain of the previous day, most of the blooms were in perfect show condition. The special prize-winners were as follow: —Buchanan Rose Bowl, Mrs. J. Martin; Bidwill Cup (sweet pens). Miss Alpe, 58 points; fruit and vegetables. G. 11. Holdcraft; cut Howers, Miss R. Card; home produce, Mrs. S. Benson; home work, Miss Esine Card. The judges were: Mr. Poole (cut flowers), Mrs. Dillon (decorative). Mrs. A. C.
