EMPIRE FREE TRADE
STRONG ADVOCACY OF A MANUFACTURER London, November 27. In his presidential address to the National Union of Manufacturers, Mr. George Terrell strongly advocated Empire free trade. Their union had long favoured British safeguarding plus Imperial preferences, which would rapidly decrease British unemployment. He strongly supported preferences as steps to ultimate Empire free trade.
