VICTORIA COLLEGE DEBATING TEAM

SUCCESSFUL TOUR OF AMERICA • ONLY TWO DECISIONS LOST (Rec. November 28, 7.40 p.m.) New York, November 27. Members of the Victoria College (Wellington) debating team, which is nearing the completion of the tour of the United States and Canada, were entertained by the English Speaking Union here. They will leave shortly for New England, where they will debate with several universities and then return to New York. The debate with Columbia University will take place bn January 5. They will then sail for home from San Francisco. .Members of the team state that they have been greatly pleased with the opportunities of seeing Canadian and American life, especially at the smaller colleges. They have had a full schedule of debating with many colleges, of both men and women, and lost but two decisions.
