CHIEF COMMISSIONER OF BOY SCOUTS

GENERAL ANDREW RESIGNS Dominion Special Service. Christchurch, November 27. Brigadier-General A. W. Andrew, who has been honorary Dominion Chief Commissioner of the Boy .Scouts’ Association for the past seven years, resigned that position at the annual meeting of the Dominion Council to-day. He stated that he had accepted the position in the first place in a temporary capacity only, and he considered that the time had now arrived when a younger man should take up the work. A resolution was carried expressing appreciation of General Andrew’s services to the Scout movement in New Zealand.
