DISCHARGED PRISONERS’ AID SOCIETY. The twenty-fourth annual meeting of the Discharged Prisoners' Aid Society 'will be held in Mr. Page's room, Magistrate's Court, this afternoon. The annual report will be submitted, and Ihe election of officers for tiic year will be part of tiic business of the meeting.
A mooting of the N.Z. Howard Longue for I’onnl Reform (Wellington Branch) will be hold in the X.Z.E.I. Club Rooms, The Terraco, to-night at S p.m.. when the speaker will be Dr, 1. L. ti. Sutherland, of Victoria College. A cordial Invitation is extended to all who are interested to hear his impressions of what is being done for penal reform in the United States.
