SEAFIELD GOLF CLUB.
. The Seafield Golf Club concluded its season with a combined prize-giving and social evening on Tuesday night at the Victoria League rooms, when Mrs. E. Rurinerstrum (wife of the president of the men’s club) presented the men’s prizes, and Mrs. Mewburn, president of the ladies’ club, presented the prizes to the ladies. The following is the prize list:— Ladies.—Senior champion, Mrs. E. Goldsbury; junior champion (Runnerstrum Rose Bowl), Mrs. S. Irwin; gold button, Mrs. A. B. Sharpe; silver medal, Mrs. Goldsbury; bronze medal, Mrs. F. Wills; Mrs. MeArtney’s Electric Cup, Mrs. Goldsbury; Harkness Cup, Mrs. Goldsbury; Collier Cup, Mrs. Irwin; Miss Wood’s trophy, Mrs. Sharpe; Mrs. Pritchard’s ti-ophy, Miss E. Wills; Mrs., Wills’s trophy, Mrs. Sanko; Mrs. Goldsbury’s flag, Mrs. E. Williams; Mrs. Mewburn’s trophy, Mrs. E. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. E. Runnerstrum, Mesdames Mewburn, Watson, Williams, Mr. and Mrs. T. Austin, Mr. and Mrs. Spellerburg, Mr. and Mrs. Pritchard. Mr. and Mrs. J. Goss, Mr. and Mrs. Sharpe, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. P. McDonald, Mr. and Mrs. Irwin, Mr. and Mrs. Goldsbury, Mesdames Mauley. Bengess, Abbott, Misses Parsons. E. Wills, D. Collier, E. Warnock, M. Calver, B. Wills, Luceng, A. and S. Wood, Hogan, .Clark, Hanly, Higginbottom, Messrs. McArtney, C. S.. Brown, R. D. Smart, G. Thorpe, Lamont, Feattie. The ladies’ club presented Misses Calver and A-. Wood with powder-bowls in appreciation of their services, and also an honours board was presented to the men’s club. . Bridge, songs and dancing concluded the 1929 season.
