EFFECTS ON FASHIONS (Rec. November 25, 11.35 p.m.) London, November 25. “Illogical as we women are often said to be, our common sense will never again allow us to sacrifice health to fashion, after our delightful taste of freedom,” says the Marchioness of Queensberry, in a letter in to-day’s “Daily Mail.” “Sensible, comfortable clothes are an asset to women’s participation in the lives of 'men, if not a direct result of our independence. I advise women to band together to resist the reintroduction of groundsweeping skirts.”
