CONCLUDES IN FINE WEATHER Dominion Special Service. Nelson, November 23. The Nelson A. and P. Show concluded to-day in fine weather, before a very large attendance. In the light horse section Miss M. Goulter (Blenheim) scored heavily, and was also awarded the championship for the best hack on the ground with Ginger Mick. The following championships were awarded in the sheep class:—Romney Marsh: Ram, any age, Jas. Thomson (Blenheim): ewe, J. H. Jordan (Hope). Shropshire Down: Ram, any age, R. C. Ellis (Belgrove) ; ewe, wet, G. W. Best (Richmond). Southdown: Ram, any age. C. F. Mc’Lauchlan (Blenheim) ; ewe, wet, C. F. McLauchlan). ' Corriedale: Ram, under 18 months, R. T. Laidlaw (Blenheim); ewe, wet, G. Hobson (Rjwaka). Halfbred: Ram. any age, G. Hobson; ewe, any age, G. Hobson. In the Jersey section Mr. McLennan (Auckland) said there had been an allround improvement, and the prize-win-ners would be fully justified in competing in anv show in the Dominion. G. H. Wearing Won the award for the champion cow in the show, and also reserve champion. , . The motor-cycle races resulted as follows:—President’s handicap, six laps:T. A. Fuller, 1; R. Everett, 2: E. H. Everett, 3. Richmond handicap, five laps: E. H. Everett, 1; W. Riggs, 2;‘ J. WMitahall. 3.
