AN INVESTITURE
GOVERNMENT HOUSE CEREMONY At Government House yesterday morning, His Excellency the GovernorGeneral presented to the Hon. Sir Alexander Herdman, Judge of the Supreme Court, and to Sir Henry Buckleton. general manager of the Bank of New Zealand, the Royal Letters Patent conferring upon them the Honour of Knight Bachelor. His Excellency also presented insignia and decorations to the following:— C.M.G.: Dr. Leonard Cockayne, Ph.D., F.R.S., and Mr. R. E.
