NEW STEAMER SERVICE
INFORMATION SOUGHT As it was commonly reported that a fast steamer service between Melbourne, Bluff, and Dunedin was to be Inaugurated almost immediately, the Leader of the Opposition (Rt Hon. J. G. Coates) asked in the House of Representatives yesterday whether the Government was in a position to give information concerning time-table, schedule, and amount of assistance' to be given by the Government by way of subsidy. “When the supplementary estimates are before the House, the information will be given,” replied the acting-Lead-er of the House (Hon.
