PRICE INCREASED AT AUCKLAND. Dominion .Special Service. - Auckland, October 29. ’ By «ix votes to. four the Auckland Transport Board carried a resolution increasing the price of tramway concession cards.. The decision was made on the recommendation of the secretary to the board, who suggested the following scale: — Cash Present Proposed Sections. Fare, Concessions. Concession. One 2d. Is. 6<l.- Is. »d. ' . Two 3d.’ 2s, 3d; 2s. Bd. Three ’'4<l.'' ■ ”3s.- o<l. 3s. 6d. .. Four s<l. .. , 3s. 9d; ? 4s. sd. f The present issue of concession cards expires on November 5, so the new scheme of concessions will probably be in force from November 10. The secretary further recommended that concession tickets now be available for use by more than one person. ’ This also was adopted.
