TO TAKE FAREWELL OF NEW ZEALAND The following announcement has been made by the Salvation Army:— “Commissioner Hay, head of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, has received orders from General E. J. Higgins to take farewell of his command and be ready to proceed to a new and important appointment in October. During the last three years some important advances both in spiritual and social work have taken place in the Army’s activities. Commissioner and Mrs. Hay will be saying good-bye at many centres, and in October will conduct concluding meetings in Wellington. The new leader for the Dominion will shortly be announced.”
