No trace has yet been found of the two radium needles which were, reported missing from the Christchurch Hospital some weeks ago. The search made has been very complete. Had the needles gone into the destructor with rubbish, they would have been found by now, as the ashes have been searched. Another sixty radium needles are on order for the radium department of the hospital, this having meen made possible by the trustees of the Travis bequest, which set aside a sum of money for the purpose. These needles have not yet left England, and it will be some time, probably, before they do so, for several of the large British institutions have orders in ahead of the local order.
