EARTHQUAKE IN THE SOUTH
SHOCKS AT DUNEDIN AND INVERCARGILL By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, July 30. A short, sharp shock of earthquake was felt here at 1.45 a.m. It was felt as far inland as Cromwell, where there was a distinct rumbling noise. Invercargill, July 30. A fairly sharp earthquake was felt at 1.45 this morning. No damage was reported.
