The Newton Pine, witli phosphates from Morocco, and the Tasmanian Transport with cargo from Ocean Island are due at Wanganui shortly. The Mayor (Mr. W. J. Rogers) at last night’s City Council meeting, moved that a committea go into the question of salaries and report to the Finance Committee.
