A MASTERTON JUDGMENT.

Musterton, June .17.

Reserved judgment has been given by Mr. J. Miller, S.M., in connection with the case wherein the Southern Mines Development Co. Ltd. proceeded agalust W. Huhne, builder, of Mastertou, for unpaid calls, or instalments, on shares. The case was a test one, and many Wairarapa settlers were interested. His Worship gave judgment for defendant, with costs'.- security for appeal being fixed ou the application of the plaintiff company at £lO plus costs. At the hearing Mr. C. S. Brown (Wanganui) appeared for the plaintiff company and Mr. D. K. Logan (Masterton) for the defendant. ' ~
