RUGBY LEAGUE
A meeting of the Management Com-mittee-of the Wellington Rugby League was-held. in. the .league gymnasium last night, there being present Messrs. Corcoran, Crunmer, Lawrence, Sharman, Simpson, 'Bowen, and W. N. Davis (secretary). Mr. Wrack was elected to the chair.- ; The secretary repotted on the visit of. Mr. Sneddon, the president of the New Zealand Council,' and also reported that the art union was drawn at Petone on Friday last. The appointment of a delegate to represent Wellington at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby League at Auckland on April 20 was held over until next meeting. The matter of transfer and reinstatement of players caused lengthy discussion. A letter from Mr. Stirling, delegate on the New Zealand Council, stated that the affairs of the Wellington League wfita receiving attention. Various sub-committees were formed.
