RIFLE SHOOTING

SUBURBS CLUB The Suburbs Club fired the second shoot of the fourth series at Trentham last Saturday afternoon. The ranges were 300 amt 600 yardk. The weather was perfect ami light good, but the wind playing at its usual fishtail antics led many marksmen astrav, but some good individual range scores were returned under such conditions. Rllmn, S. F. McLean made the best-score at 300 yards with 4(1. and Rflmn. A. Harns returned the best at 600 yards with 48, also making the best gun score of the day with 89 A general summary is given of the various competitions, and the finals will be very interesting, as the vagaries of Trenthani upset many calculations.
