OBITUARY
SIR EDWARD SEYMOUR British Official Wireless Rugby, March 3. Admiral of the Fleet Sir Edward Seymour died during the week-end from influenza, aged 89. He was senior Admiral of the Fleet and senior member of the Order of Merit. His naval career was extremely'distinguished, extending over 58 years, and he was the only British naval officer ever to command'a force from eight nations during warlike operations. This occurred in 1900, during the effort to help the beseiged Peking Legations during the Boxer risings.
