BOWLS
CHAMPION RINKS POSTPONED Owing to the very heavy rain and the condition of the green, the centre interclub riuk champion games have been postponed. It has been decided to play the matches on Thursday, March 14, on the Wellington green, commencing at 9 a.m. This will allow a little more time for clubs to fi“d their representatives, and will permit the inter-club pairs competition for secretaries and treasurers to take place as arranged on Wednesday, March 13. SENIOR PENNANT The following is the position of the Senior Pennant competition, six rounds having been played. The fourth round, postponed from December 15, will be played on Saturday, and will conclude the competition. The two leading clubs, Newtown and Victoria, will meet, and it is probable that the results of the games played by these two clubs will decide the winner of the pennant.
