WAIRARAPA EXHIBITION
ARRANGEMENTS PROCEEDING. Masterton, March 6. Arrangements in connection with the exhibition to be held in Masterton towards the end of May are proceeding satisfactorily, the committee appointed at the public meeting held some time ago having met on several occasions. . An extensive programme has been outlined, and discussed, and it is expected that an organising secretary will be appointed shortly. It lias been agreed that the exhibition shall be open for a week, commencing on May . 20. but it is possible that the art and antique section may be kept open for two weeks. The organisation of tins latter section has been placed in the hands of Mr. A. E. Clemas, who was in charge of the section previously. Mr. Clemas has called a meeting of those who assisted him then. This year it is hoped to add an interesting feature in the shape of a series of lectures on art and kindred topics and Mr. Clemas is in touch with several Dominion authorities with regard to the matter. Mr. Clemas has no doubt that it will be possible to provide an even better art and antique display than was staged before.
