STAFF PICNIC
At Maidstone Park last week, the staff of Messrs. E. J. Hyams, Ltd., and His Master’s Voice (N.Z.). Ltd., held their an nual picnic, under Ideal weather condi tions. A very pleasant day was spent in sports, games, dancing, etc. During tec after replying to the toast of the directors Mr. J. G. Nichol, assisted by Miss Mar garet Hatch, presented the prizes. Day, 2 Open, apple on string: Mr. Davey. 1: Mi McKeen, 2. 100 yards handicap: Mr Smallbone. 1; Mr. Ritchie. 2. Veterans' race: Mr. Hatch, 1; Mr. Robertson. 2 Ladies' blindfold race: Miss Wilde, 1: Miss Serni, 2. Men’s blindfold race; Mr Barry. 1; Mr. McKeen, 2.
