GERMANY’S NATIONAL DAY' OF REMEMBRANCE .

The Berlin correspondent of the “Daily Express” states that only a. few flags were half-masted for Berlin’s national day of remembrance for its war dead. There were three hundred thousand reverent people outside the Reichstag in February, 1924; to-day' there, were not two thousand present to honour Germany’s two million fallen. The publie are tired of seeing w;ir memorial services exploited for militarist and political purposes.
