Seas rather rough south of Cape Egmont and Castlepoint; elsewhere smooth to moderate In New Zealand waters. Fresh south-westerlies in the south-east portion of the Tasman Sea. In the north-east portion south to westerlies near New Zealand, and north-easterlies further west. Scattered showers in coastal districts in the South Island, chiefly south of Westport and Akaroa; otherwise mainly fair to cloudy generally. Cooler temperatures in the South Island.
