BALANCE OF TRADE. (Australian Press Association.) Vancouver, February 6. The attackers of the Australian Treaty were confounded on Wednesday when official figures showed that exports from Vancouver exceeded imports for the first time in history. Imports amounted to 4 J million dollars, and exports were over five millions.' Australia was the second largest purchaser of canned fish, with 300,000 cases.
