Visitors to Islington Bay have been sumrised at the extraordinary tameness of the wallabies on Raugitoto Island. On one evening five of these, interesting marsupials could be seen sitting on the pathway outside the camp of Mr. J. H Langley, Deputy-Mayor of Mount Albert, all eagerly awaiting their turn to be fed with scraps of bread. The campers on the island will not allow anyone to molest them, and their kindness is being rewarded by the total absence of fear usually shown by these timid animals.
