A Remuera (Auckland) amateur gardener is justifiably proud of a magnificent pansy bloom which he has grown out of an ordinary sixpenny packet of seeds (says the “Herald”). _ The flower, which is richly tinted in maroon, dark brown and yellow, measures 2|in. on both perpendicular and horizontal lines. It has emerged from the ruck of its humbler but colourful brethren.'.
