A further wireless message received by the New Zealand Shipping Company from the Remuera reports that the vessel will now arrive in the stream at Wellington at 3 p.m. to-morrow from Loudon and Southampton. After pratique has been granted the ship will berth about 5 p.m. to disembark her passengers, and on Wednesday morning to commence unloading. MAKURA FROM SYDNEY. A wireless message received by the Union Company yesterday from the Makura. en route from Sydney, reports that the vessel will arrive tn the stream at Wellington at 5 o'clock this niornlug. The Port Health Officer and Customs officials will go out to the Makura at 6 a.in., and she Is expected to berth about 8 a.m. at No. 1, south (outer toe), Queen's Wharf. The Makura will leave Wellington at 3 p.m. to-morrow for San Francisco via Rarotonga and Papeete. PARED R’A D E L A Y E D. The Geo. H. Scales Company report that their chartered steamer Pareora has been considerably delayed by bad weather at Napier, and. therefore, will not arrive at Wellington until Friday from that port to continue loading. The vessel Is expected to sail from Wellington mi Saturday for Timaru aud Duncdiu to fill up. She is fixed

to sail from Dunedin on January 9 for Dunkirk, London and Hull.

WEDNESDAY’S PICTON EXCURSION. On Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock th'/ Union Company’s turbine steamer Wahine will leave Wellington for Picton, taking passengers at excursion rates. The vessel will leave Picton at 2 p.m. on Wednesday on the return trip to Wellington. THE CANADIAN BRITISHER. The Canadian Britisher will leave Lyttelton to-day for Timaru, Dunedin and Wellington. She is due at Wellington on Sunday to load for New York. Boston aud Halifax, and will sail on the following Tuesday for Napier and Auckland. The vessel will leave Auckland finally on January 12. THE PORT HARDY. The C. and D. Line advise that the Port Hardy, at present loading on the coast, will now sail from Lytteltou on January 17 for London, via Panama. MANUKA FROM MELBOURNE. The Union Company's intercolonial passenger steamer Manuka arrived at Wellington at 12.20 p.m. on Saturday from Melbourne, via Milford Sound. Bluff, Dunedin, and Lyttelton. The vessel berthed at No. 1. north (outer tee), Queen’s Wharf. The Manuka sailed from Melbourne on December 19 and arrived at Milford Sound on the following Sunday moruiug. The ship cruised in the Sound for a couple of hours and then resumed her voyage, arriving at Bluff ou the same night. Christmas Day was celebrated at Dunedin, flowers, flags and balloons giving tlie saloon a gay appearance. Cloudy weather was experienced generally on the passage from Melbourne. The Manuka is to sail from Wellington direct for Melbourne at 3 p.m. to-day. MISCELLANEOUS. The Corinna will now leave Wellington on Thursday for Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. The Kahika Is due at Wellington to-mor-row from Napier, and will sail ou Wednesday for Lytteltou and Dunedin. The Somerset left Dunedin on Saturday for Auckland to proceed with her Homeward loading. The Norfolk sailed from Wellington yesterday morning for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow, and Liverpool. The Kent sailed from Bluff at 4 a.m. on Saturday for Timaru to continue her loading for London. The Ruapehu is to leave Lyttelton on Wednesday for Napier for further discharge of her London cargo. The Kaimai will leave Napier on Wednesday for Wellington to complete discharge of her coal from the West Coast. The Kurow, which is due at Wellington to-morrow morning from Auckland, is to sail from here on Wednesday for Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Totara is expected back at Wellington to-morrow from Lyttelton, and will sail from here on . Wednesday for New Plymouth. The Cyguet is due at Wellington on Saturday from Lyttelton and Kaikoura, and will leave on the return trip next Monday. The Tees will sail from Lyttelton next Friday for the Chatham Islands. The Taranaki will sail from Wellington at noon to-da.v for Timaru and Port Chalmers to complete loading for London. The Matakana, which arrived it Wellington yesterday from Napier to till up, will sail from here at 5 p.m. on Wednesday for London. Avonmouth, Glasgow, and Liverpool. The Tamaroa arrived at Opua on Saturday from Auckland to proceed with her Homeward loading, and will sail to-day for Gisborne.
