LICENSING NOTICE. THE ALBERT HOTEL. tTVHE Public is Hereby Notified that -«- the Albert Hotel, on the corner of Manners and Willis Streets, has changed ■hands, Mr. C. E. Falkner being the new licensee. During the first year of his management a new eight-storey hotel—the largest in New Zealand —will be erected on the present site. The Albert will contain all the latest modern hotel architecture. Provision will be made for suites. The bedrooms will have bathrooms attached. The lounges will be the biggest and most up-to-date in the country. A Post Office telephone will be provided in every room, a modern heating system will be installed throughout the building; and a battery of lifts will serve the floors above from the ground level. All this will be provided at a schedule to be advertised upon the completion of the hotel. During the building operations special provision will be made to cater for the publie on lines compatible with the dignity, comfort, and luxury of the premises to be erected around the temporary structure.
