WET MONTH AT NELSON

PROSPECTS OF RECORD RAINFALL Dominion Special Service. Nelson, December 29. The month at Nelson promises to be the wettest December on record for nearly half a century. To date the fall has been 8.65 inches —only a few points less than that recorded in the same month of 1884. The fall for the year to date has.been 41.17 inches, against an average of about 37 inches. The weather has greatly interfered with harvesting, and also with the raspberry and other small fruits. The weather cleared this afternoon and the sun came out, but more rain appears to be about.
