PETONE GALA ACCIDENT
PROGRESS OF THOSE INJURED.
The three girls who were Injured on Thursday night at the Petone beach carnival, when a support 01 the “ocean wave” broke, and caused the head of the apparatus which carries the seating to come off, are reported to be making satisfactory progress. The hospital reports that there is no change -in the condition of Mary Kemp, who was admitted, suffering from slight injuries to her back, and shock. Nellie Prentice, who was thought to have fractured a leg, is still in bed, though it has been ascertained that no bones have been broken. Gwendoline Wilson’s injury has proved to be a bruising of the spine. However, she is not confined to .her bed. '
