BAIL WITHDRAWN
CHARGE OF REMOVING SAFE Palmerston North, December 29. Stating that lie did not think James Moreton McGill's conduct had been satisfactory since bail had been allowed, Hector Norman Suisted to-day made application before Mr, A. J. Graham, J.P., for the withdrawal of his surety of £lOO as bondsman for McGill. The latter is at present on reinard on a charge of removing a safe containing cash and cheques from premises occupied by James Clarke Christie, Rangitikei Street. ' The release w'as granted. A warrant for McGill's arrest was also made.
