NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP Wanganui, December 28. The North Island Rifle Chimpionship .< concluded here to-day in wet weather, the ’ Championship being won by A. Neilsen, ' of Napier, after shooting off with R. H. Nicholson, of Napier. The latter was ruhneir-up, being defeated by one point. ’ Other results were as follow: — Tyro aggregate, matches 1,2, 3,4, 5, 6, and 7: J. H. Kearney* 265; D. Canning, 250.
