WELLINGTON CENTRE TOURNAMENT UNPLEASANT CONDITIONS / THREE MORE ROUNDS PLAYED The Wellington Bowling Centre’s tournament was advanced another stage yesterday, under conditions that were not so pleasant as on the pievious day. The sky was overcast, and the atmosphere was distinctly muggy. After midday light rain- fell, and throughout the afternoon there were light showers. , . , , At the Khandallah green, which is well among the hills, the play was postponed for a time in the fifth round, and in the sixth round the rain was so persistent that play was abandoned soon after the commencement. On account of these conditions section C (which is -to play to-day at Karori) will play four rounds • of- 16-head games. Following are the results of yesterday’s play:— FOURTH ROUND SECTION A.
