THE KING’S ILLNESS LATEST BULLETIN (Australian Press Assn.—United Service! (Rec. December 29, 1.53 a.m.) London, December 28. It is stated that the King spent a fairly quiet night. Lord Dawson, Sir Hugh Rigby, Dr. Rolleston, Sir Hugh Hewett and Dr. Buzzard were present at this morning’s review of the case. The British “Medical Journal's” comments, written before last night’s unfavourable bulletin, point out that there is a likelihood of further checks, while emphasising that some ground has been gained during the past ten days. The Duke of Gloucester left for Leicestershire at 8.25. He took a hunting kit.
