At an inquest - yesterday at Greyinouth on Allan Evans, aged 12, who died after falling in a boys’ race at children’s sports, following an attack of convulsions, the medical evidence was that death was not connected with the injury received on the sports ground (states a Press Association message), but was due to an enlarged thymus gland. A verdict was returned accordingly.
