DISAPPOINTED COMPETITORS. The Chief of the Wellington Caledonian Society (Mr. R. 11. Nimino) stated last night that great disappointment hail been suffered by the Scots as the result of tlie annual sports meeting (which was to have been held on Boxing Day) having to be postponed, owing to the unsuitable weather.
