William A. Mills,- of Uardry station, Hay, a prominent stud sheep breeder, was drowned while bathing in a dam in the Hay district. Another bathing fatality occurred at Mildura, where the Rev. Reginald Tuck, an -Anglican clergyman, lost his life in the Murray River.
