ATOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that A-' at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council, held on Wednesday, December 19, 1928, the following resolution was passed:— That the Wellington City Council, pursuant to the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, the Municipal Corporations Act. 1920, and their respective Amendments, and in pursuance and exercise of every other Act and authority in that behalf it enabling, doth hereby resolve, by way of-Special Order, as follows: — 1. That a Special Loan of Thirty thousand pounds (£30,000), to be known as “The Wellington City Tramwilys Paving and Town Hall Loan, 1904, Repayment Loan, 1929,” be raised by the Wellington City Council for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding liability in respect of a Loan of Fifty, thousand pounds (£50,000), which matures on the First day of Slay, 1929. 2. That the rate of interest on the said Loan be not exceeding Five pounds ten shillings (£5 10s.) per centum per annum, payable half-yearly on the First day of November and the First day of May in each year during the currency, of the Loan, being a period of Twenty-six (26) years from the First day of May, 1929. 3. That a Sinking Fund of Two pounds (£2) per centum per annum be established in connection with the said Loan. 4. That the security for the interest, sinking fund, and other charges, and repayment of the said loan be a special rate of Four One-hundredths of a penny (4-100 d. in the pound on the unimproved 'value of all rateable property ..within the whole of the City of Wellington. That the rate of interest on the said Loan be not exceeding Five Pounds Ten Shillings (£5 10s.), per centum per annum, payable half-yearly on the First Day of March, and the First Day of September, in each year during the currency of the Loan, being a period of Thirty-one (31) years from the First Day of September. 1929. 3. That a Sinking Fund of One Pound Ten Shillings (£1 10s.), per centum per annum be established in connection with the said Loan, the first payment to the Sinking Fund to be made not later than two years after the first day from which interest to the lender is computed on any monevs so borrowed. 4. That the security for the interest, Sinking Fund, and other charges, and repayment of the said Loan, be a special rate of Thirty-three Twohundredths of a Penny (33/200d.) in the pound, on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council, to be held on MONDAY’.
