The thirty-third annual convention of the Theosophical Society, whose membership now stands at 1126 with 19 lodges throughout the Dominion, was held to-day, delegates from all parts of the Dominion being present. An interesting address was given by Air. J. R. Thomson, of Auckland. The election of office-bearers resulted as follows General secretary and national treasurer, Mr. W. Crawford; treasurer, Miss G. M. Hemus; assistant general secretary and treasurer, Miss Stone; librarian, Mrs. J. Brooks; auditors, Messrs. Carter and Phenay. The next convention will be held at Wellington.
