Over 15,000 proposals of marriage in the last six years have been received by Mrs. Nellie Stull, president of the Widows and Widowers’ Club of America. Over £70,000 has been raised by Lord Headley and the British Islamic Society toward a scheme for the purchase of a site and the erection of a Moslem mosque in London.
