DISASTER IN FRENCH TOWN SEVERAL WORKMEN KILLED lUulted Press Association.—By Electric TeiegrapU.—Copyright.) (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) Paris, December 25. The death roll as the result of the collapse of reinforced concrete buildings under construction on the Continent has been increased by a disaster at Saumur, where several workmen were killed and a number injured. About a score of men were engaged in removing the internal scaffolding supporting the roof moulds, when the entire building, which has been designed to store machine guns, collapsed like a house of cards. Seven bodies were extricated from the ruins. Another man died in hospital. It is believed that six others are buried in the ruins.
