The 20-knot ferry steamer Wahine will make an excursion trip to J 1 flintWednesday, January 2 t leaving Veiling ton wharf at 8 a.in. and arriving back it 5 p m The vessel will make a stay of about four hours at Pictoii, allowing plenty of time for those desirous of mak ing the special launch trips around tho sounds or of visiting Blenheim by the train which the Railway . R e P artn have provided. Visitors taking advan ■ k of the various launch trips may obtain lunch and free hot water at the various accommodation houses in the sounds.
